Client Testimonials
"I was really nervous about starting my path to recovery through trauma coaching sessions and didn't know what to expect of myself. Now I'm glad I took the step forward and started on my path to healing with Alinda helping me along the way. She is understanding, knowledgeable, patient, and very good at what she does. She has shown me tools to help manage my PTSD, and I'm very grateful."

"When I started coaching services with Alinda, I was at a low place in my life. From family of origin wounds to surviving abusive relationships, I had a lot of trauma to sort out. Alinda treated me with dignity and compassion from day one. In the year since I met her, I've been able to deepen my self-awareness and make positive changes in my life. Even throughout many years of traditional therapy, I've never felt so seen and heard."

"Alinda is the consummate coach! She provides a safe, affirming, and nurturing space that allows for the self-mining that can be so terrifying to survivors of trauma. She is part mentor, part cheerleader, part protector. I have been able to unearth, reframe, and integrate difficult truths while under her guidance, and the healing that has resulted is truly life-changing. Once you can get to that perspective shift, it's a whole new world of possibility and peace. Alinda has played such a key role in my healing process, and I am so grateful."

What Is Trauma?
Trauma occurs when we lose our sense of safety during and/or following a severe threat, either real or perceived. It can leave us stuck in a hypervigilant or hyperaroused state. It often fosters feelings of powerlessness and lacking in direction and purpose. The experiences and reactions related to trauma are individualized and highly variable. However, most devastating is the loss of connection--to our selves and our bodies, to our families and to the world around us.
